Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu is using the prolonged lockdown period to bond with his family. “I’m doing a lot of reading exercising and resting and spending some quality time with my kids. It’s been a while since we spent this much time together at home. There’s no room for boredom as the four of us are constantly discovering something new about one another.”

Mahesh is also getting to evaluate his own life. “Lockdown has been good for all the right reasons. I’m doing lots of introspection. I am finding ways to make this work-free time in lockdown more productive and keeping a positive attitude and approach.”

Mahesh sees these to be trying times for humanity. “It’s a challenging time for all of us, nothing like anything we could have ever imagined. But I am pretty sure we will all come out of this stronger.”

The Maharshi superstar’s advice to his fans? “My advice to all my fans is to please follow the advice of our State and Central government at all times and please, please stay home as that’s the only way to beat this virus. It is boring and frustrating at times to not be able to go out and do what you want to. But it’s the need of the hour and we all should all abide by the rules the government has set for us.”

Mahesh and his wife Namrata and their two children are catching up on evergreen Hindi comedy films. “We sat together and saw Gulzar’s Angoor, Hrishikesh Mukherjee’s Chupke Chupke and Sai Paranjpye’s Chashme Buddoor. Highly recommended during these times of stress.
