Vikramaditya Motwane is that one director who has been at the receiving end of controversies post the #MeToo fiasco last year in September 2018 due to someone close to him.
It was Tanushree Dutta who first triggered the #MeToo fight in India for women, as she openly took a stand against Nana Patekar claiming that he had misbehaved with her sexually on the sets of the 2008 film, ‘Horn Ok Please’. What followed was more number of celebrities getting exposed in the fight for justice. Many celebrities were allegedly charged with inappropriate sexual behavior – the likes of Sajid Khan, Rajat Kapoor, and one more name that was added in the list was that of Vikas Bahl, Vikramaditya’s ex-partner in ‘Phantom Films’.
Adding to the already prevailing misery was the fallout between him and his ex Phantom Films partner, Anurag Kashyap, which kept Vikramaditya out of the limelight. All said and done, we aren’t sure what the status of the MeToo incident is, but on a lighter note, Vikramaditya Motwane shared some other candid information for people on Twitter when questioned by a user.
A twitter user asked him as to what was his favourite celebrity encounter till now and here’s what he had to say –
I was 8, briefly in the same school as @juniorbachchan, and was lucky enough to get invited to his birthday party. Spent the whole evening looking for HIM. HE came to the party late, straight from shoot, probably Mard. I remember his boots. He nodded at me. Made my life… https://t.co/J2DtOtArdS

Indeed, anyone’s first celebrity encounter is memorable, especially when you are also invited to his birthday celebrations.
On the work front, Vikramaditya is reportedly working on a web series next, the details of which he will announce soon.
