As India is into its fourth week of the Covid-19 pandemic, the situation seems to be getting only more alarming day by day. The rise in the number of death cases and infections is something that can certainly leave you bamboozled. They say that ‘When nothing goes in your favour, just leave it on prayers’.
PM Modi seems to be following the same and hence in his 9am address to the nation a few days back, he requested all Indians to come together on April 5th (Sunday) at 9PM for 9 minutes to show our unity in diversity.
The country kept Modi’s request and responded well. Even Bollywood along with the South Film industry kept PM Modi’s request and names like Samantha Akkineni, Yash, Rajinikanth, Gopichand, Pooja Hegde and others lit up candles to show their respect and strength. Check out photos below –
