For a long time, fans have been waiting for Mohanlal’s sequel of Drishyam titled Drishyam 2 and guess what, the moment is finally here.
The movie is all set to stream on Amazon Prime Video on 19th February, 2021 and quite literally, the joy and excitement of fans knows no limits. When Mohanlal was asked about his emotions and feelings regarding Drishyam 2, he was quoted as saying,
“Well, it gives me immense amount of happiness and pride that we are finally coming with Drishyam 2. The first part was received very well both critically and commercially. It became India’s first film that was re-released in China and made in Chinese again. There’s undoubtedly a lot of pressure to stand upto the expectation of the audience but we are mentally positive. I feel that ‘a crime once done haunts forever’. It played a big role in giving Malayalam cinema a place in global movie map and I hope we can continue the legacy forward.”
