Dharma Production owner Karan Johar’s chat show Koffee With Karan is in its seventh season after the pandemic break. The show has already featured many spicy episodes featuring several guests. But this season is missing one big name, and it’s none other than Deepika Padukone.
Per the reports, Deepika was offered an invitation personally by Karan Johar to feature on one of the episodes. But the Padmaavat actress Deepika Padukone didn’t show her interest in appearing on the 7th season of Koffee With Karan. The source revealed that “DP just didn’t say a ‘yes.'” This means the actress didn’t find enough reason to appear this season.
The first episode of this season featured her husband, Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt. The actor made many statements on the show, including how he saved DP’s number on his phone. Ranveer also shared that Deepika’s mom didn’t know how to bind with Ranveer, but as the years passed, they warmed each other, and now they get along well. She is like a mom to him.
However, it would have been interesting if DP featured once again. Host Karan himself admitted that his 2010 episode featuring Sonam Kapoor and Deepika Padukone is one of the most talked about episodes as the ladies have made statements on B-Town stars.
Though we wonder why Deepika Padukone missed this season of Koffee With Karan, or maybe she didn’t want to come as she didn’t want to engage in conversation about her relationship. But, even though she didn’t want to come, we hope the actress will return to the show next season.
