Monalisa, one of the popular faces from the Bhojpuri industry, who is currently living her life in king size, had a difficult past before she joined the entertainment industry.
According to an article in the ZEE News India web portal, the actress used to work in three hotels for three years to help her family financially. The actress was born to a Bengali Hindu family, and her father was facing fatal recessions in business, which left the family in poverty and to help her family, Monalisa started working at the age of 15.
Saying that the actress also mentioned that she used to get paid a small amount of Rs 120 during those years when she worked in hotels.
