Quite often new surroundings in the entertainment and film industry can get quite bizarre. But a recent issue has left quite a few people disgusted and shocked. Tamannaah Bhatia, a well known Telugu actress had made her way to a jewelry store at Himayat Nagar for its inauguration. On her way out, a 31-year-old man flung footwear at the actress. The police were called and the man was then detained. Many have been appalled by the news!
According to an Economic Times report, Inspector B Ravindar from the Narayanguda Police Station said that a B-tech graduate from Musheerabad, Karimullah had flung footwear at the actress as she was leaving the store.
‘The footwear missed its target, while it hit an employee of the jewellery store,’ the officer said.
‘Karimullah was immediately detained and during questioning revealed that he was apparently frustrated over the roles played by the actress in her recent movies,’ the inspector said. While the actress missed getting hit, the employee who did get hit filed a complaint against the man.
Tamannaah Bhatia, the actress has made quite an impact in the Telugu film industry. She is well recognized for her performances in the blockbuster movies, Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion. The multilingual actress has also worked in Tamil and Hindi cinema too.
