Rakul Preet Singh is that one diva who has made a successful transition from the South film industry to Bollywood and she’s certainly putting her best foot forward to capitalise on the wonderful start she’s got in B-Town. Rakul made her Hindi debut with Ajay Devgn’s De De Pyaar De and she continued the good work with movies like Aiyaary & Marjaavan.
At the moment, Rakul is back with a bang in her latest Netflix release ‘Sardar Ka Grandson’ where she plays a crucial role alongside actors like Arjun Kapoor & Neena Gupta.
The movie is all about the importance of being close to one’s family. Rakul plays the role of Radha whose character is quite emotional as she’s someone who gets hurt very quickly.
During an exclusive conversation with Rakul, when we asked her how much of Radha is Rakul in reality, she was quoted as saying,
“Well, partially so to say. One thing that I can say is I don’t get emotionally hurt very easily. I mean, I would like to believe that (smiles). But yes, I do my best to keep my emotions in check. I do feel strongly about things but I also do my best to ensure it doesn’t get the better of my mental space. I am emotional but strong, unlike Radha in the movie”
