On November 6, 1988, in Scottsdale, Arizona, Emily Jean “Emma” Stone was born to Jeffrey Charles “Jeff” Stone, the founder and CEO of a contracting firm, and Krista Jean Stone (née Yeager), a homemaker. She is of British Isles, German, and Swedish ancestry. When Stone was a young child, she joined the Valley Youth Theatre in Phoenix, Arizona, where she had her theatrical debut in a production of “The Wind in the Willows” by Kenneth Grahame. Through her early teens, she participated in numerous other shows, but it wasn’t until she was fifteen that she made the decision to pursue acting as a profession.

In a sneak peek, Stone’s makeup artist Rachel Goodwin showed the actress getting ready for the big awards ceremony while donning a “beautiful lip patch” from the Korean cosmetics company Tonymoly, which can be bought online for only £2. And if Stone’s performance on the red carpet is any indication, this inexpensive beauty purchase is unquestionably worthwhile.

Stone wasn’t the only actress to use a Korean beauty item to get ready for the Golden Globes. Sheet masks, a trend that originated in Korea and has since taken the industry by storm, were shared by Maisie Williams, Jessica Chastain, and Drew Barrymore.
