Emma Watson was reared in England despite being born in Paris, France, on April 15, 1990. With Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, the actress received her big break when she was a young girl. She played Hermione Granger in all eight films in the franchise, which allowed her to experience growing up on the screen. With parts in movies like My Week with Marilyn, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Beauty and the Beast, and Little Women, Watson went on to find success in the fashion and modeling professions as well as in acting.
For the photo shoot with British fashion photographer Tim Walker, the actress, and UN ambassador stood in a white lace skirt by Burberry and a cut-out crochet cloak by Burberry. While many admirers commended the wonderfully composed photo for being audaciously feminist, others argued that Watson’s exposing outfit was “hypocritical” given that she is a well-known feminist activist.

Some claimed Hartley-Brewer didn’t understand feminists, while others emphasized that feminism is about having the freedom to choose. Watson talks about playing Belle in the upcoming live-action remake in the magazine interview she gave. Although her character is “clearly a Disney princess,” she claims the movie helped her “make that shift into being a woman on-screen” and that despite being a Disney princess, she “is not a passive character – she’s in charge of her own fate.” She seems like the perfect person for the job.
