A few days after connecting with Harry Potter charmer Matthew Lewis, aka Neville Longbottom, at the Beauty and the Beast Los Angeles premiere and revealing that a group text between her and Harry Potter cast mates is very much alive, it’s clear that the fantasy film series that started it all for Emma Watson still has a very special place in her memory.
The Beauty and the Beast star made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, for the promotion of her new film and to reminisce about her breakout role as Hermione Granger, which she grasp when she was only 9 years old.
“It is like you got magical powers the host joked as Emma shared about being selected for the role right after her first audition and then growing up and making her way into audiences’ hearts for over a decade while working on the Harry Potter films.
While going down in the memory lane, the late-night emcee couldn’t resist poking fun at Watson about a very Hermione embarrassing habit that the child actress can be seen doing during an old Harry Potter clip.
“Watch Emma Watson’s lips very closely,” the host suggested as we see Watson repeating along the lines of co-stars Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint, who play Harry Potter and Ron Weasley in the fantasy series.
Emma Watson says, “You can surely laugh”, but this was traumatic for her at that moment.
She created issues because of this. She would ruin takes! Chris would be like, ‘Cut. Emma, you’re doing it again.’ But she couldn’t help herself! It was like, she was such a loser, though she wanted to do her job well, and she overdid it. Still ” No complaints here!
