We can say that they were destined to be together. The actress of the movie Hulchul was originally Divya Bharti but due to her sudden death, She was replaced by Kajol. Ajay and Kajol met each other for the first time on the set, during the shooting.

They welcomed their daughter, Nysa on 20 April 2003 and seven years later became parents again to a boy on 13 September 2010 and he was named ‘Yug’. Kajol has always praised her husband and once stated, “I am really nasty, critical and cunning. Ajay is a much better person than me. It’s not easy being the sensible one all the time, but he’s a gentleman.” Kajol and Ajay proved that ‘Opposites do attract’.
