In today’s world, fashion battles have become quite popular. Lately, the run-ins have gotten more frequent as designers have been overly ‘inspired’ by one another. However, this time around it’s about the same designer being faithful to his own style. Sabyasachi is unquestionably the man of the hour, with practically all of Hollywood’s top ladies donning his creations. Deepika Padukone’s high-octane wedding to Bollywood superstar Ranveer Singh is the buzz of the town, but her costumes have also gotten a lot of attention.
In a Sabyasachi costume, the lovely actress looked stunning as always, offering us a big fashion showdown. Deepika looked stunning in a multi-colored floral attire that had a plunging V-neckline choli, a high-waisted lehenga with a Sabyasachi belt, and a sheer net dupatta.
A jadau neckpiece, traditional bangles, a braided Greek-style bun, and flower hair ornamentation completed her look. Deepika’s new outfit is obviously out of her comfort zone, but she pulled it off with elegance and confidence.
We realized we had seen a similar pattern on Kangana a while back when obsessing over Padukone’s style and tracing our memories. Ranaut wore a Sabyasachi floral gown in the same design as Deepika, which was also from Sabyasachi. She wore a midi dress with sleeveless sleeves, a deep U-neck, and a fit and flare style. With her open natural curly hair, stud earrings, and a black wristwatch, she kept her look simple.
