The Family Man 2 was released recently on June 4th, 2021, and can be streamed on Amazon Prime. The supporters were quite thrilled about this one! It has a great cast and nothing less than impressive is to be expected!
According to a Hindustan Times report, Shahab Ali confirmed that the script of the Family Man 2 originally saw the characters played by Samantha Akkineni falling in love with the character of Shahab Ali. And apparently, there were a few intimate or ‘suggestive scenes between the two characters ‘Rajji’ (Samantha Akkineni) and Sajid (Shahab Ali) were shot. But it never made the final cut and was deleted by the final stage.
In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Shahab said that “It is not just the intimate scenes. It was the usual process – you have a lengthy show and there is the process of editing which comes later. It was not like a particular scene was edited out.”
The actor was further asked if there were any scenes with physical intimacy that were shot to which he said that they “did some suggestive scenes that suggested that they fall in love towards the end.” But since the creators or the platform didn’t find that it making sense so the scenes were edited out. Shahab added that ‘parts that were not logical’ were not a part of the final version and that it was all part of the editing process, some scenes get deleted while others don’t “no big deal”.
