There’s something about the Anaikka line that takes one’s breath away every time. On day 2 of the Amazon India Fashion Week 2016 A/W, the designer, who showed a massive collection named ‘Lock, Stitch, and Gothic’ under her brand Anaikka, turned attention.

The ‘Lock, Stitch, and Gothic’ popular collection reflected a time when fashion was dominated by males, but with a queen in authority, women took center stage. The beautiful collection on exhibit at AIFW AW 2015, in true designer style, takes you back to a time when fashion was a form of art and gives it a very modern, edgy, and gothic touch.

“For the first time, the company launches its male collection,” says the designer. The collection honors the history and spirit of ‘Victorian’ fashion while also demonstrating the beauty of mixing old and contemporary.” The collection, on the other hand, included a show-stopper in Shriya Saran, who was the first to walk the runway this Autumn Winter 2016. Shriya wowed us with her beauty while wearing the finest of the collection, ‘Lock, Stitch, and Gothic.’

Shriya Saran, a South Indian actor, wowed us on the runway as a showstopper for designer Anaikka. The actress is seen wearing a re-defined black and gold saree with a massive gold and ruby headpiece. Shriya Saran, the Capital’s first show-stopper, walked down the catwalk wearing a gigantic headdress that made her appear like a goddess from Indian mythology. Take a peek at the actress strutting her stuff on the catwalk.

At the presentation, she wore a very glitzy ensemble. Shriya looks lovely in a striped black and silver saree with a deep-neck embroidered blouse. But it was the actress’s confidence and grace that made all the difference. Shriya is, without a doubt, the reigning queen of hearts.
