Free Guy Actor Ryan Reynolds Reacts To Gerard Butler’s ‘I Don’t Watch Reynolds’ Movies’ Comment; Check Out Here

Take a look at how Ryan Reynolds reacts to Gerard Butler's comment.

Ryan Reynolds talked about how he and his wife Blake Lively have pledged to match donations to the American Civil Liberties Union and the NAACP Legal Defense Fund.

Even when he’s not in Free Guy, Ryan Reynolds knows how to play the game. The Deadpool star responded with surprise after Gerard Butler said in an interview with UNILAD that he hasn’t seen any of Reynolds’ films. “Can you believe Gerard Butler has never heard of Free Guy?” Following a tweet with a title featuring Butler’s comments, Reynolds playfully posted on Instagram. Reynolds also included a screenshot of his own tweet, which appeared beneath the news on his timeline. “Also, can you believe that the challenges to democracy have never been greater, and that Blake and I will match your contributions to the @aclu nationwide and @naacp ldf? *Order of these questions optimized for the Internet, NOT importance,” he continued, referring to his and wife Blake Lively’s recent pledge to match contributions to the American Civil Liberties Union and the NAACP Legal Defense Fund.

Butler recently stated, “I genuinely don’t know what Free Guy is,” as his co-star Alexis Louder (who co-stars with him in his latest film, Copshop) explained to him. Butler continued, “Oh s—t, is it?” “I’m not a fan of Ryan Reynolds’ films.”

However, during Butler’s interview with UNILAD earlier this month, the subject of Reynolds’ work came up when Butler’s 2009 film, Gamer, was contrasted to Reynolds’ newest game-centered picture, Free Guy. Butler plays a death row inmate who becomes embroiled in an electronic game in which contestants can manipulate human participants, according to E! News. Reynolds, meanwhile, plays a bank teller in Free Guy who realizes he is a non-player in an open-world computer game.
