Not a lot of actors start their careers with movies. Some actors pursue a different career line or work other odd jobs before they decide they want to make it big in the film industry. Check out these 6 Bollywood stars and some of their first odd jobs before they joined showbiz!
1) Akshay Kumar:
Akshay Kumar worked a bunch of jobs before he knew that acting was his calling in life. He had jobs as a waiter, chef, travel agent, jewelry salesman, and martial arts teacher.
2) Rajnikanth:
This impressive star started at the bottom and made his way right at the top of the film industry. He is now one of the highest-paid actors in India. But before he got into the film industry, he worked as a coolie, a carpenter, and even a bus conductor!
3) Nawazuddin Siddiqui:
This actor has quite impressive educational qualifications. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and worked as a chemist in a petrochemical firm for a while. He even worked as a watchman for around 2 years. He worked these jobs so he could study at The National School of Drama according to a GQ India report.
4) Ranveer Singh:
This quirky actor’s first job was that of a copywriter at an ad agency.
5) Jacqueline Fernandez:
This Bollywood beauty first worked as a TV reporter back in Sri Lanka before she decided she wanted to make it in Bollywood.
6) Siddharth Malhotra:
This actor was a model and even walked the ramp at the age of 18. He later went on to work as an assistant director. As per a GQ report, he assisted Karan Johar on his 2010 movie, My Name is Khan.
