When it comes to the Hindi film fraternity, time and again we have heard of instances where actors have been replaced. While some have come out in the open to talk about them being replacements, others have been reported by the media.
While in some cases, we saw actors being replaced in the very first movie of the franchise, in certain cases, they have been replaced from the sequel of their own movies.
So today, with respect to reports in BollywoodLife, we take a look at 3 such occasions
Arjun Kapoor: Media reports suggest that Arjun Kapoor was a hot choice for the movie but eventually, it was director Sandeep Reddy Vanga and the team who went ahead with Shahid Kapoor
Govinda: Govinda was removed from Ranbir Kapoor and Anurag Basu’s Jagga Jasoos despite having shot for the film. Ranbir was once quoted as saying, Unfortunately, Basu and I are to blame for the severed track. We started filming without a complete script, and the character underwent a complete overhaul, causing delays. It’s unfair to cast someone as legendary as Govinda and not do justice to their role. It’s a truly unfortunate situation. We are sorry, but we had to cut that track out for the best of the film.
Saif Ali Khan: Saif is that one name that has been synonymous with the Race franchise for a long time until Race 3. However, eventually, things didn’t work out and hence despite having been offered the same, Saif didn’t connect with his role and hence had to skip
