Shooting for movies can come with unique issues. Especially when you are shooting an action movie. Many celebrities insist on performing their stunts and act out their fight scenes. Sometimes it just so happens that things go south! Check out these 5 South stars who got injured while shooting.
1) Kamal Haasan:
This legendary actor performs all of his stunts on his own. But this also means higher chances of getting hurt. While shooting a scene for the movie, Vishwaroopam 2, the actor was injured and was rushed to a nearby hospital. It took quite a while before he recovered from the injuries.
2) Ajith Kumar:
This actor has a huge history of injuries that occurred during the shooting of various films. He even had to undergo spinal cord surgery once! During the shooting of a stunt for the movie Aarambam, the actor hurt his leg. For his movie Billa 2, the actor sustained an injury once again which left him with a split hand.
3) Vishal:
The actor, Vishal got injured while shooting for the movie, Action in Turkey. The actor was performing a few stunts on an ATV bike when he met with an accident according to a Zoom Tv report. He was promptly rushed to a hospital and was given treatment. A picture of the actor bandaged up went viral on social media.
4) Rajnikanth:
During the shooting of the movie, 2.0, the actor fell and reportedly hurt his right knee according to a Zoom Tv entertainment report. He was rushed to the hospital immediately. The media was later addressed and told it was a minor accident and that the actor was fine.
5) Anushka Shetty:
While shooting for the movie, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, Anushka Shetty got some serious injuries. She had made a special appearance in the war-based movie and while shooting a sequence she got injured, states a Zoom Tv entertainment report. Even with other setbacks, the film was released as planned.
