Princess Diana – At her 1981 wedding to Prince Charles, Princess Diana wore a beautiful gown made by former husband-and-wife design team David and Elizabeth Emanuel. The silk and taffeta gown, which featured a 25-foot train and an estimated 10,000 pearls, cost over $115,000.
Madonna – While donning an expensive wedding gown at her 1985 wedding, this pop diva clearly lived in a material world.
