Frome Serena Williams to Sofia Vergara: 10 elegant wedding dresses of hollywood divas

Let's have a look at our favorite celeb's gorgeous wedding dress.

Sofia Vergara

In a beautiful wedding at The Breakers Resort in Palm Beach, Florida, Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello tied the knot. For her wedding day, you undoubtedly expected the bride to wear something seductive and figure-hugging. The “Modern Family” star, however, astonished everyone by walking down the aisle in a more traditional gown. The strapless Zuhair Murad Couture gown was covered in yards of lace and had a long train, giving it a sassy princess feel. For the ceremonies leading up to the Sunday night nuptials, the actress wore a variety of additional eye-catching ensembles.

Angelina Jolie

Luigi Massi, the master tailor at Atelier Versace, created the stunning ivory silk gown. The gown had a ruched bodice with a long A-line skirt, which is to be expected considering Jolie’s flair for unfussy, sleek shapes. However, there’s a catch! Jolie’s gown’s train and veil were both adorned in her children’s artwork. Massi embroidered in dozens of whimsical, colorful motifs created by Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Vivienne, Shiloh, and Knox, according to People. Isn’t that cool?

Serena Williams

The tennis star, Serena Williams, walked down the aisle wearing a strapless Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen princess ball gown and veil. “I flew to London to meet with Sarah and ended up falling in love with the ball gown silhouette, which is completely the opposite of what I ever thought I would choose for myself. I loved the idea of doing a really spectacular ball gown, and it has turned out to be such an incredibly special piece.”

Priyanka Chopra Jonas

135 satin-covered buttons, 700 spools of ivory thread, 5,600 pearl seed beads, 11,632 Swarovski crystals, and 24,12,000 high-luster sequins were used to create the one-of-a-kind wedding gown designed by Ralph Lauren.

Her wedding gown required 15 experienced artisans 1,826 hours to construct. The designer described Priyanka’s gown as “This isn’t about a dress. It’s about a woman and a moment. Priyanka knows exactly who she is, and so I wanted the dress to reflect, not only her love story and the romance of India, but also her unique sensibility: strong, smart, and beautiful.”

Hailey Baldwin

The lace gown had an off-the-shoulder neckline, long sleeves, a mermaid skirt, and a lengthy train. She wore an embroidered veil with “TILL DEATH DO US PART” stitched in Abloh’s distinctive block text at the end of her one-of-a-kind bridal gown.

Kim Kardashian

She wore a custom lace mermaid gown designed by her close friend, Givenchy’s Ricardo Tisci, in one of the most iconic celebrity wedding gowns of the twenty-first century. The gown also had a sheer lace back with sheer paneling at the waist, long lace sleeves, and a train, all of which were capped off with a cathedral-length veil. Kim’s elegant ensemble demonstrated how far her style has progressed since her wedding to Kris Humphries when she wore a strapless, tulle Vera Wang ball gown with a diamond tiara.

Audrey Hepburn

While Audrey Hepburn’s Givenchy wedding gown from Funny Face is still one of the most iconic celebrity wedding gowns of all time, the ensemble she wore to her first wedding to Mel Ferrer in 1954 was quite as glamorous. Pierre Balmain designed the tea-length gown with a high neck and puffy sleeves, which she accessorized with elbow-length white gloves and a white rosebud crown in her hair.

Karlie Kloss

Jared Kushner and Karlie Kloss slipped away to upstate New York for a party and vows in front of approximately 80 close friends and family. What about the outfit? With exquisite lace illusion sleeves, a modest sloping V-neckline, and a classic veil, the blonde beauty wore a custom, Dior.

Kate Upton

When Kate Upton married pro baseball player Justin Verlander in Italy, she looked stunning in a long-sleeve lace gown with a crew-neck illusion bodice. A side-swept half-updo reminiscent of old Hollywood completed her iconic appearance.

Chrissy Teigen

Chrissy Teigen donned three breathtaking Vera Wang gowns during the course of the night when she married EGOT winner John Legend in Italy. The supermodel chose a huge strapless ball gown with a structured bodice and spectacular floral appliqué for the outdoor ceremony overlooking Lake Como.
