Gal Gadot, the beautiful Hollywood actress has been quite successful with her career. She has worked in quite a few successful movies and has only been rising on the ladder to stardom. The actress, however, broke the silence about her experience with Joss Whedon, the Justice League director.
Previous rumors were floating around that the director has misbehaved with the Wonder Woman actress, Gal Gadot. The actress never spoke up about these rumors or her equation with Whedon before. However, she recently revealed that the director had threatened her career back in 2017 when they were working on Justice League, according to a Man’s World India report.
As per the same report, the actress has once stated, “What I had with Joss is that he kind of threatened my career and said if I did something he would make my career miserable. I handled it on the spot.”
The report suggests that the actress had voiced her concerns about the direction of the character as well as the movie which is what lead to Whedon’s reaction. The director had also depreciated the Wonder Woman director, Patty Jenkins as well.
She isn’t the first star to voice out Whedon’s misbehavior on sets either! Victon Stone who played the role of Cyborg has spoken up about Whedon’s misconduct with the cast members. The actor had tweeted, “Joss Whedon’s on-set treatment of the cast and crew of Justice League was gross, abusive, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. He was enabled, in many ways, by Geoff Johns and Jon Berg. Accountability>Entertainment.”
Another co-star, Charisma Carpenter mentioned that Whedon has a “history of creating toxic and hostile work environments.”
But what affected Gal Gadot the most, even now was the pay disparity. The actress had been paid less than her counterpart for the 2017 action movie.
