Gal Gadot has a lot on her plate between appearing in superhero films, operating a production company, and spending time with her family. Despite this, she prioritizes her self-care routines at the top of her to-do list. “Wellness is such an important part of my life,” she tells Shape. “The better I feel, the better I look, the better I am.” Some aspects of her regimen have changed throughout time, while others have remained vital.

Meditation and sleep

“It’s strange how the individuals who could really benefit from meditation are frequently the ones who can’t find the time to do it,” Gadot adds, adding that she was in the same boat until she found the Headspace app. “It’s fast, it’s simple to use, and it truly helps me feel present,” the Wonder Woman star explains. “That, along with getting enough good sleep, is the key for me.”

Hydration

“I wake up and drink water like a camel,” Gadot says, adding that she drinks plenty of water throughout the day, particularly when working out and before bed. “Before I drink coffee or anything else, I consume a full, cold bottle of Smartwater+ Clarity. It’s crisp, refreshing, and wonderful, and I can’t get enough of it. My family and I tried all of the new Smartwater+ varieties, and our favorite was Clarity. We’re consuming a lot more water than we would otherwise.”

Workout

“Interval training is something I enjoy doing, and I’m pleased that I can do it at home in my gym. I try to go every day, but it’s more like three to four times a week occasionally. It’s been difficult to find time to spend with the family at home.”

Nutritious food

Gadot believes that consuming healthy foods is equally as vital as sticking to a fitness routine. “I’ll never forget what a fitness trainer told me: Even if you only exercise for two hours a day, you still have a lot of time to eat. As a result, the things you eat are crucial “she explains. “I’m a firm believer in the Mediterranean diet. I enjoy cooking it as well as eating it.”

More than that, she notices that when she does, she feels and looks better: “I’m not a saint by any stretch of the imagination. I consume cheeseburgers and other such foods. But, for the most part, I maintain it healthy. And when I do, I become more important.”
