George Clooney’s Hairstyle Transformation From The 1980s To NOW

George Clooney's Hairstyles Have Changed Over Time, From "Caesar" to "Cary Grant"

George Timothy Clooney (born May 6, 1961) is an actor and director from the United States. He has won a British Academy Film Award, four Golden Globe Awards, and two Academy Awards, one for acting and the other for producing. He received the AFI Lifetime Achievement Award in 2018.

From a Facts of Life–era wavy mullet to a then-iconic ER–era Caesar cut to his current, Cary Grant–esque ‘do, the Vanity Fair cover star has gone through several hairstyles. Clooney, thankfully, looks to be one of those individuals who, like a superb Napa wine, improves with age.

1990

Later that year, the actor trimmed his hair into the Dr Doug Ross Caesar cut, which would become his hallmark in the 1990s.

1998

Clooney appears to have used Sun-in hair lightener for a bleached-tips appearance at the premiere of Out of Sight in 1998.

2005

In 2005, the actor made his film debut in a serious supporting role that makes him appear like he alter ego Cary Grant.

2013

After only a month, the actor has taken on the appearance of a sultry yeti, complete with matching pompadour hair and a lengthy beard.

2008

Clooney debuted a toothbrush moustache in 2008, which appears to be a prank.

1990

Clooney goes all rockstar at the 1990 premiere of Red Surf. He was cited as adding that the long hair was for a short-lived TV program called Sunset Beat.

2014

Clooney goes natural, with a sensual part, touchable hair, and delicate skin, maybe in anticipation of his much-publicized engagement to Alamuddin.
