Game of Thrones won big at the 71st Annual Primetime Emmy Awards, which were held in Los Angeles. In 2019, the HBO show garnered a total of 32 nominations. Aside from the nominations, the stars of the recently finished show are set to take the stage to deliver Emmy awards in a variety of categories. Kit Harington, Sophie Turner, Emilia Clarke, Maisie Williams, Gwendoline Christie, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, and others raise heads on the red carpet as they make their way into the event before we see them hit the stage.
Make way for the Starks first, as Sansa Stark aka Sophie, the Queen of the North, makes a stunning debut on the carpet. Sophie looked majestic as she entered the award event location, dressed in a pearl white gown. Sophie received her first Emmy nomination for the show at the 2019 Emmys. Maisie Williams, Sophie’s on-screen younger sister and off-screen BFF will be joining her. The actress who plays Arya Stark on Game of Thrones smiles for the cameras while dressed in black.
Kit Harington, dressed dapperly in a tuxedo, joins them. The performer made his first red carpet appearance since the news of his rehab admittance broke the front pages. Emilia Clarke has joined the Starks. Emilia set fire to the red carpet with her Emmys 2019 style statement, just as she did to King’s Landing with her dragons. She walked out in a plunging green gown that made people’s jaws drop. With her medieval-inspired ensemble, Gwendoline made a bold statement.
