Someone has watched The Matrix: Reloaded! Watch out, Neo and Trinity: Hailey Bieber’s sleek leather coat appears to be ready to deflect bullets in style.
A few years ago, dressing up as characters from the Matrix movies was a major craze. Bella Hadid, Kim Kardashian, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley all wore futuristic, head-to-toe black ensembles, complete with a gorgeous leather coat, which is a hallmark item from the film. Magda Butrym’s latest take on outerwear, designed by Bieber, has been somewhat updated for 2022. It has a trendy and fresh form with extra-large shoulder padding. (On the runway, brands like Balenciaga, Prada, and Alexander McQueen have all showcased comparable designs.)
Bieber’s action figure gear looks like it might fit on a current-season runway and in a virtual reality world populated with evil men, along with a silky red shirt, textured black slacks, and Reformation square-toe boots. Director Lana Wachowski should cast Bieber in The Matrix 5 if it ever comes to fruition. She’s already got the clothes!

Kim Kardashian’s ensembles have been flawless since she arrived at Milan Fashion Week, and her most recent look may be our favorite. On Feb. 24, the 41-year-old mother of four wore a little black leather bralette with a matching trench coat and slacks to show off her toned abs.
Kim chose a croc-embossed bralette that was so tiny and plunging that her enormous cleavage spilt over the top. Her bra was paired with a pair of high-waisted, paper bags, straight-leg slacks that she tightened up at her small waist. She wore a long black trench coat over her ensemble, which she elected to keep open.
