On August 9, 1991, Hansika was born in Bombay, India, to the Sindhi-speaking Motwani family. Her mother, Mona, is a dermatologist, while her father, Pradeep, is a businessman. Prashant is her older brother. She attends Poddar International School as a student. She continues to live with her mother in Andheri, Bombay, India, despite her parents’ 2004 divorce. She has performed as a kid actor in numerous TV series, including “Tum Bin,” “Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thee,” “Hum 2 Hai Na,” and “Desh Me Nikla Hoga Chand,” “Shakalaka Boom Boom,” and “Celebrity Fame Gurukul.” She also made an appearance in a number of TV ads (e.g., Pepsi, Samsung, Hyundai Santro TV, and Bournvita).
Juhi Chawla, who works for her parents, observed Hansika and suggested that she pursue a career in acting. She was subsequently signed by Govinda and herself for Yahoo. Unfortunately, this film was put on hold. This did not deter Hansika from acting, as she has since made an appearance in five Hindi-language films in addition to a number of regional films (e.g., Desamuduru in Telugu, Sarvam in Tamil). She is a native speaker of Tulu and Hindi. She works out and follows a diet plan with Mickey Mehta. She is managing her career at the age of 16 with the help of her mother and three employees.
