Actor Hemant Rathi who has been part of popular and well-received web projects like Illegal Season 2, Delhi Crime etc, is excited to have been a part of Rohit Shetty’s Cop Universe film that is marked for a Diwali 2024 release, Singham Again. Hemant has been part of TV shows Reporters, Mann Main Hai Vishwas, Police Factory, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein etc.
Working with Rohit Shetty was a learning experience that the actor cherishes. He says, “My role in Singham Again is of the Sub Inspector Subbu, who works under SP Shakti Shetty, played by Deepika Padukone. It was a great pleasure to share screen space with Deepika. I had a fight sequence with Arjun Kapoor. It was a blast shooting with Rohit Shetty Sir.”
Hemant looks forward to the movie’s release this Diwali. He also looks forward to challenging work on the platforms of TV, OTT and films. He enjoys it when a role requires him to move out of his comfort zone.
For the uninitiated, Singham Again written and directed by Rohit Shetty, is the fifth instalment of his Cop Universe and a direct sequel to Singham Returns. The film stars Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, Jackie Shroff and others.
