We haven’t seen a look this good since the makeover scene in The Devil Wears Prada, but Anne Hathaway’s rainbow jumpsuit surprised me with an unexpected splash of colour.
Anne Hathaway solidified her reputation as a fashion icon after playing Andy in The Devil Wears Prada back in 2006. The only issue is that we haven’t had any Hathaway-style moments lately. The actress doesn’t share any thirst traps or street-style photos on Instagram because let’s face it, she’s too sophisticated for that. As a result, the only things we have to feed our A-list inspiration are a few red carpet photos. Imagine our astonishment when we saw Anne Hathaway in a stunning rainbow jumpsuit on the streets of New York City.
The actress sported a wide-leg jumpsuit with rainbow polka dots and a belt at the waist. A matching, oversized blazer, strappy purple shoes, and simple jewellery completed the set. The casual ponytail Hathaway wore for her appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert gave the outfit a more grounded feel.
