Scarlett Johansson’s upcoming movie Black Widow was planned to be released in May 2020. The Walt Disney Co. has decided to overhaul its upcoming film release plans. They have postponed the release date of some of the biggest films. Including Marvel’s Black Widow’s release date being shifted.
Black Widow is now set to release on the 9th of July 2021 instead of May 7. The movie will be available on Disney plus and on the company’s streaming platform for a $30 early-access fee. Marvel announced the news via social media by posting a poster picture of the movie. The captain said “Marvel Studios’ Black Widow is in theatres July 9 and on @DisneyPlus with Premier Access. Additional fees required.”
If the movie will be streamed in theatres or not is not very clear because of the pandemic situation. Even though many theatres all around the world are reopening but it depends on the gravity of the situation and the lockdown rules of different countries.
