Gracy Goswami the talented youngster has grown with her first big screen experience in Begum Jaan and has now bagged Anubhav Sinha’s film Thappad. She is very much excited about it.
The women oriented film has Taapsee Pannu in the lead role along with a huge stellar star cast.
Gracy who has won hearts with challenging roles on the small screen with Balika Vadhu, Bal Krishna, Mayavi Malang etc will play the youngest of the women in the film Thappad.
Says Gracy, “I am really honored to be sharing screen space with such a stellar cast. I play the youngest and have a good connect with neighbor Taapse Pannu’s character.”
Gracy plays daughter of Dia Mirza in the film. Thappad cast includes Taapsee Pannu, Dia Mirza, Ratna Pathak Shah, Tanvi Azmi, Geetika Vidya, Maya Sarao, Naila Grewal, along with Kumud Mishra, Pavail Gulati, Ram Kapoor, Ankur Rathee and Gracy Goswami.
Gracy who is presently in Std 11 is very good in her academic career.
“I plan to concentrate on my studies as I have got a good aggregate in my 10th exam with 99.42 percent. Doing a daily soap is not possible as of now, as my first priority is studies. Yes, I am open to such movie offers that give me the time to work on my education too,” she says.
This will be Gracy’s second film after Begum Jaan wherein Gracy shared screen space with stalrwarts Vidya Balan and Gauahar Khan.
