‘I did not know as much as I do today…’ Kiara Advani shares her experience of working on Shershaah

Kiara Advani revealed that she had limited knowledge of the Kargil War before she signed for Shershaah, the film shall feature Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra. The two shall play pivotal roles in the film.

Speaking on her knowledge of the Kargil War, Advani who shall essay the role of Dimple Cheema, Vikram Batra’s (Sidharth Malhotra) wife, said in an interview, “Being part of a biopic involves tracing and knowing in detail, lives that have been lived. The people in his life, who become an integral part of his life.”, as quoted by Hindustan Times.

She further added, “I must have been 6 or 7-year-old during the Kargil War. My information was limited. I did not know as much as I do today, after being a part of the film.”
