I have literally given my blood and sweat to Shershaah – Sidharth Malhotra

Check out what Sidharth Malhotra has to say on his latest movie Shershaah

Sidharth Malhotra is one of the most good-looking and handsome actors of the Hindi film industry and ever since he made his debut with Student Of The Year way back in 2012, there’s been no looking back for him. After SOTY, movies like Hasee Toh Phasee, Brothers, Kapoor & Sons and many more have helped Sidharth cement his place in an industry as an ‘outsider’ and how. The last few movies that he associated himself with didn’t really work in his favour but good news folks, he is back with a bang in Shershaah.

Sidharth plays the role of Major Captain Vikram Batra in the movie and this is the first time he has taken to playing a real-life character on the big screen. His rumoured girlfriend Kiara Advani plays the role of Dimple Cheema, his love interest in the project. Shershaah has opened up to good reviews from the audience and seems like Sid has made a strong comeback to silence his critics. During an exclusive conversation with IWMBuzz, when he was asked about how differently he had to approach the character to make it work in his favour this time, he was quoted as saying,

“Well, this movie is extremely heartfelt and very close to my heart. I have tried my best to live his character in the best way possible. I have literally given my blood and sweat for Shershaah and a lot of effort has gone into it. Spending time with his family and trying to understand minute details did help. Also the fact that we shot at real-life locations made it all the way more emotional. Whatever has been shown in the movie, more than 90% of it has actually happened in real life. Starting from how I enact to how I am looking, everything was of topmost priority. I am just positive and hopeful that everyone loves it since a lot has gone behind it.” Check out the video below –

Shershaah is presently streaming on Amazon Prime Video from August 12, 2021. Let us know your views in the comments below and for more updates, stay tuned to IWMBuzz.com
