Govind Pandey the talented actor is happy and excited with his stint in the recently released Hrithik Roshan-Saif Ali Khan starrer film Vikram Vedha. He plays the role of Parashuram Pandey, the mentor of Vedha in his initial days.
Says Govind, “I play the gangster Parashuram Pandey in the film. It was amazing to play this character. It was a fabulous feeling to work with Hrithik Roshanji. We have different kinds of equations in the film. Initially, he is like a son to me and joins our gang. However, he turns against us later and has a motive against our gang.”
Govind enjoyed working with Hrithik Roshan. “He is a very hard-working actor. It was such an overwhelming feeling to shoot with him.”
The song from Vikram Vedha titled ‘Alcoholia’ has become a rage. Recollecting the dance experience for the song, Govind states, “We enjoyed watching the dance moves of Hrithik Roshan in the song. Our dance choreographer Ganesh Hegdeji was instrumental in putting up the amazing steps for the song. It looks brilliant to watch. He in fact made people like us, who are non-dancers too to dance and sway our legs and body. It was a big deal for us.”
“I got lost for the initial few seconds when Hrithik Roshan started to dance. It was as though there was a cyclone approaching us. That was the vibe and feel he brought to his dance. I had only one scene with Saif Ali Khan,” he adds.
“I salute the Directors Gayatri and Pushkar. The cameraman was splendid. It was great working with the crew from the South. They were so patient at work. The Production house was also strong in its work. We thoroughly enjoyed shooting this film. The art designs put in for the film were also mindboggling,” he avers.
Govind Pandey will next be seen in Netflix film Kathal. He will also be seen in Akshay Kumar starrer film Capsule Gill.
