Iconic Roles Of Kristen Stewart That We Love, Which One Is Your Favorite?

Kristen Stewart is best known for her lackluster Twilight Saga performance, but some of her other roles are perhaps more legendary.

Kristen Stewart has been receiving a lot of flak from film critics. Her critical acclaim stems primarily from her portrayal of Bella Swan in the Twilight series, a vampire-themed novel that gained a cult following in the early 2000s. On-screen, she is also recognized for having a staid and formal demeanor.

However, in retrospect, this may be part of what made her such a wonderful actress. She manages to be awkwardly relatable while still holding her own in each role she takes on. While her involvement in the Twilight series was far from her breakthrough, it did place her in the public eye for a time. She seemed to be a wonderful match for the reserved, clumsy plain Jane who is classified as such.

Stewart’s sixth acting role is in Speak, but she has already proven that she can hold her own at such a young age. Stewart’s character, Melinda, has to confront her friends as she enters high school after a severe sexual assault episode over the summer. Stewart’s Twilight schedule coincides with the filming of Adventureland.

In this film, though, she appears to put on a more realistic mask. Em, a carnival worker, introduces James (Jesse Eisenberg) to his new summer job, which she plays. Stewart was cast as Elizabeth Travis in the film Certain Women in 2016. It is set in small-town America and chronicles the lives of three ladies who are all dealing with personal issues.
