Arshad Warsi is one of the most versatile and entertaining actors that we have had in Bollywood till now and whatever he does, be it the Munna Bhai franchise as Circuit, or movies like Golmaal and Dhamaal, everything manages to leave the audience in splits.
This time however, Arshad is all set to come in a horror thriller in Durgamati, something we don’t really associate him with. When asked about his role in Durgamati, he said and we quote,
“Well, I can’t say much till the film releases but what I can certainly say is the audience has never seen me in this avatar ever before. It’s something totally different and unique and I hope it’s gripping enough for the audience to watch and enjoy it.”
When further asked about his secret to acing all comic characters till date, he said and we quote,
“Well, I feel the acting part is never really easy to do. But I must say that improvising in comedy gets easier if you have naturally have a good sense of humour. I often improvise and I have seen the improvised portion becoming the main highlight. So yes, I love every bit of it because I am naturally fun-loving and free-spirited.”
Durgamati is all set to stream on Amazon Prime Video from December 11, 2020.
