Sui Dhaaga is a comedy-drama starring Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma that tells the story of a young, impoverished couple who started their own small-scale clothing business. This is Anushka Sharma’s fourth collaboration with Yash Raj Films.
In the criminal thriller Paatal Lok, made in 2020 and its debut on Amazon Prime Video, Sharma served as executive producer. She also worked on the Netflix horror movie Bulbbul. Film critic Anna M. M. Vetticad praised Sharma for her “courageous, non-conformist” decisions as a producer.
According to Sharma’s 2022 announcement, her brother would become the sole owner of Clean Slate Films, and she would discontinue her role as a producer for the firm. In the biopic Chakda ‘Xpress, starring Sharma, and cricketer Jhulan Goswami, which will air on Netflix, Sharma will make her acting comeback after a four-year absence.
