As ETimes asked, “You’ve played a wide range of roles throughout your career. Whether it was Yeh Saali Zindagi, Rockstar, Rama Madhav or Padmaavat, your characters have always stood out. What is it that makes you say ‘yes’ to a role?” To this, Aditi said, “Usually it is a rollercoaster of emotions and I really enjoy that. I get to explore a different life with each movie and that’s most exciting. I don’t know what it is that makes me pick a film or not, its very instinctive. It is very hard to describe, but I do know that the first thing that I am excited about is working with the director and of course then the script and the co-stars are very important. Because I trust in people and I need to feel like a child on the sets and I can only do that when I can really and completely trust.”

She further added on doing romantic films, “I think it was only after I did Mani sir’s ‘Kaatru Veliyidai’ (2017) that I started getting offers for really interesting love stories. A lot of them were quite hectic but the opportunities were something that I really enjoyed. I could immerse myself into the process. There were some amazing directors working with me. Till today, a lot of the offers that I get are love stories. It is not my design, it just happened like that. I also feel that maybe I attract those kind of films because I enjoy doing love stories, but at the same time I also feel that every person’s love story is different. And each of my characters are really different girls. So I get to play each one from a different place.”
