It was a surreal experience to work with the best in the country: Rashi Mal on being part of Brahmastra

Rashi Mal talks about her experience of being part of Brahmastra.

Actor Rashi Mal who has successfully migrated from television to the mediums of web and films is happy and satisfied with bagging the huge opportunity of being part of the multi-starrer film of Ayan Mukherji, Brahmastra. Rashi plays the role of Shaina in the film starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Amitabh Bachchan.

Says Rashi on the broad experience of being part of the film, “It was a surreal experience to work with the best in the country. To be a part of a film which is so different from what is being made is an honour in itself. The graphics in the film is a must-watch is what I will say.”

“Mine was a fun part of the film. It was something I have never played before. I thoroughly enjoyed working with Ranbir and Alia. Unfortunately, I did not get a chance to work with Mr Bachchan in this film. But since my career has just begun, I hope I get another chance somewhere to work with him (smiles),” adds Rashi.

Rashi who was seen in the film Helicopter Eela earlier, feels that the quality of the project is what she looks at when she chooses any role. “I want to play roles that have not come my way earlier. Want to believe that I have been qualitative about the roles that I have taken up. I want to be part of projects that are made with all the heart. I have also worked with the best of people. These aspects have motivated me. In a world where there is so much content to consume, I believe that people who put their soul and hard work into their projects stand out. My attempt is always to align myself with such people.”

“I want to be part of all kinds of genres. So far I have done action, comedy, and serious roles. I do not want to mimic myself. The more variety I get to deliver, the more I will be happy,” she explains.

On projects that are lined up, Rashi says, “I have shot for a series recently. I cannot speak about it at the moment. I am looking for challenging roles on the big screen.”

Best of luck, Rashi!!
