Jacqueline Fernandez has managed to gain maximum love and engagement from her audience. The journey began way back earlier in ‘Na Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai’ opposite Riteish Deshmukh. But without any element of doubt, the much-deserving turn-around happened with Salman Khan’s ‘Kick’ that immediately brought her into the foray of A-lister actresses. ‘Jacky’ as fondly called by her fans and lovers has always caught the eyes of the audiences for her perfectly positive aura that has some secrets to spill when it comes to her positive outlook and well being. We earlier heard about how Jacqueline was battling a low phase in her life when things weren’t really stable with her in her personal life.
Recently, the actress opened up to the media about it and how she came out of it and we quote,
“I was letting trivial things get to me; things which earlier would not bother me. What slowly started me feeling low was that I started taking myself and what was happening around me too seriously. I would hear or read something disparaging about me and discuss that with 10 different people and they would talk about it and it would become a vicious loop. I would make even the most trivial of things that happen in the industry into big issues and dwell on them.”
Telling us more about her comfort in this discomfort, she shares, “It was very easy for me to stay in that state. When you are sad, you get a lot of attention, and who doesn’t love that! Then you top it up by watching sad movies and listening to sad songs. Then you start to binge eat. Chocolate becomes your favorite food and so on. At the back of your mind, you know you need to snap out of this, but that seems too much of an effort, so instead, you become comfortable in your sadness.”
Sharing on how the actress pulled herself out of this pool of thought and telling us more about the importance of ‘state of calm’ and peace, she further adds,
“But honestly for me what really helped is the fact that I’m way too obsessed with my work and things I want to achieve in my life. So one day I thought, wait a minute, this is really unproductive. So that saved me. But it is truly scary how tempting it is to stay in that situation. It really takes a lot of effort to snap out of that phase.”
Well, kudos to Jacqueline for coming out strong from a tumultuous phase of her life and with a big bang. For more updates, stay tuned to IWMBuzz.com.
