That being said, her expertise in fashion was all the rocks when she appeared in a classic black gown designed exclusively by Schiaparelli at the Critics Choice Award in 2023, in Los Angeles. Exuding pure glam in the outfit, Julia stunned her admirers with her soft chic glam she wore at the event night.
In a Schiaparelli-designed black gown, Julia Roberts, made headlines. The floor-length gown had a figure-flattering contour and gorgeous full sleeves. The bodice of the piece featured a spiralling gemstone styling as its finishing touch.
Majestic block soles, glossy black nail polish, and vibrant rings completed Roberts’ look. The Ocean’s Twelve actress picked soft touch of elegance for her aesthetic and had her trademark red mane coiffed in natural waves. Elizabeth Stewart, who also intended Viola Davis’ chocolate-coloured Valentino costume for the ceremony on Sunday, attired Roberts for the night.
For the unversed, Julia Roberts was nominated for the Best Actress category for her exemplary work in Gaslit. Last year in April, ahead of the premiere, the actress speaking to Entertainment Lively said, “One of the great things about portraying this person was there was a lot of source material, a lot of archival footage, a lot of photographs.”
She further added, “I could see [Martha] being interviewed, and the way that she talked, the way that she walked, the way that she dressed. There was so much that I could excavate from all those things to put together my interpretation of her.” As quoted by US Magazine.
