Kangana Ranaut has stated that she is a huge fan of the late actress Sridevi. Kangana found herself admiring Sridevi’s talent after hearing a clip from one of her songs. The actor expressed surprise at how Sridevi portrayed seduction while remaining innocent and funny. The song Kate Nahi Kat Te, which Sridevi and Anil Kapoor performed in the Mr India movie in 1987.
The two were portrayed in the popular song, which featured Sridevi’s Seema romancing an invisible Mr India, who happened to be Anil’s Arun. Kangana took to Instagram Stories on Friday to share a clip from the song that was posted on a fan page and featured Sridevi dancing in the rain. She captioned her post, “It is beyond me how anyone can be childlike innocent/funny and yet portray intoxicating feminine seduction…Ufff…I am Sridevi Ji’s biggest fan. Legend.”
The diva has shown her immense love for Sridevi. While Kangana recently praised Sridevi’s comedic personality in films, she had previously compared herself to the late actor. Kangana stated in a series of tweets on her old Twitter account in February last year that she was the only actor to do comedy after Sridevi.
