Kangana Ranaut provided us the much-needed jolt of fitness motivation with her motivating letter on acquiring 20 kgs for the upcoming AL Vijay-directed Thalaivi and the “road back to fit physique” as the ‘Queen’ wrapped up the Thalaivi filming in Hyderabad this October. Kangana Ranaut wowed fitness fans with her “superhuman” weight loss journey and talked about the physical hurdles of filming the J Jayalalithaa biopic.

Kangana Ranaut took to Twitter to post a host of photos, ranging from her magazine cover shot to nailing the eerie look of Tamil Nadu’s former chief minister and practicing Bharatanatyam movements. “I played the first super human girl in Indian cinema, thanks to my body a rare blend of dainty yet strong looking (sic),” she wrote in the caption.

“I had to gain 20 kgs for Thalaivi and do Bharatnatyam in my 30s, it left my back seriously broken but no greater gratification than to portray a role to perfection (sic),” she continued, punctuating her assertion with a smiling emoji.

“Journey back to my fit body wasn’t easy, I feel good but even after seven months not able to achieve my earlier stamina and agility back and those last 5 kgs aren’t budging, there are moments of despair and then my director Vijay sir shows me Thalaivi footage and everything seems fine (sic),” Kangana wrote alongside a photo from her workout session.

Kangana balances her whole weight on one leg while extending the other leg to her full height with opposing muscle energies, beautifully and without bending. This balancing practice improves coordination, mobility, and confidence, and who better than the Panga star to tell us how to do it?
