Actress Kangana Ranaut was recently found positive with COVID 19, not losing hope she optimistically responded on social media with a ‘Let’s beat this small-time virus’. She got quite a backlash from netizens for the statement. Nonetheless, she is back in good health and back on social media.

She started her video addressing the issue of negativity in the online communities that go after individuals for the smallest of statements. Her sister encouraged her to stay on the positive side of social media and use her experience as a means to help others navigate through their journey towards the negative.

Her first and most impactful advice was ‘Daar na nahi hai!’ Don’t get scared! Don’t be afraid of anything! Fear only magnifies the enemy in your mind! She enunciated that we need to take care of ourselves, and take care that we don’t transmit it to anyone else!

She goes on to say that the first step to finding a solution is finding out what the problem is. And since we already know what the problem is we have already won 80% of the fight! The actress divided her experience into 3 aspects; physical, mental, and emotional.

While listing her physical symptoms, she shared that physically she suffered a painfully sore throat, a fogginess that affected her sense of smell, taste, and weakness. She advised that steam was something that helped her with the fogginess. Gargling with different solutions is best for your sore throat. (Check her video below for ideas). And the actress battled her weakness with simple yoga.

She said that the mental aspect is the most difficult to tackle when you are surrounded and drowning in negative thoughts. Kangana confessed that she stayed away from her phones, the news, and social media! Instead, she talked to close friends and family. She relied on her social support system to feel good!

The actress says that prescribing meditation as a solution is easy. Practicing meditation and its working can be quite difficult! She used a combination of pranayama and I’m chants that helped her through her journey.

It helped her be more positive, productive, and feel good in general.

The third most important aspect is the emotional journey. She noted that listening to chants and for her, the Hanuman Chalisa helped a lot emotionally.

Lastly, she ended the video by telling her fans to stay positive and to keep a positive attitude. Take a look at Kangana Ranaut’s video about her experience here.
