Karan Johar’s popular Bollywood reality show Koffee With Karan is back with its 7th season. The show is known for spilling beans on the couch. And do not forget to mention the rapid fire round, which is the show’s must-have.

While the show is already going well and continues to produce equal love as before, Karan Johar spoke with IANS about the show’s past experience from last-moment changes to personal favorite episodes.

Karan shared, “Multitasking is a strength I have acquired over the years. I can compartmentalize things in my life fairly strategically. When I am a filmmaker, my complete attention is there. When I am a talk show host, my focus goes there. When I am producing films, that process keeps going on.”

“So, I don’t believe that either of them bleeds into each other or I lose focus because I have been able to actually design and wire my brain to do many things simultaneously,” he furthers his point.

The show is the production of some of the most controversial statements. The B-town celebs attend the show, and the next day they are in the headlines of the power this show holds. But what happened with Karan? Well, Yes.

The host said, “Many times, it has happened that I had to step in to douse the fire after rapid-fire. When Sonam Kapoor and Deepika Padukone came to the show and spoke whatever they had to, Chintu Ji (Rishi Kapoor) was very upset. I had to step in to make things alright. As a result, I have shows banned and taken off the air, which I felt terrible for.”

And this is not it, many times Karan Johar has sat and removed some of the clips which could have Unleashed a Tsunami.

Karan keeps all that with him, “I have had times where I have edited comments made on the show by celebs before the telecast because I felt that it would land up in trouble. Many times actors have called me directly requesting to cut something they have said as a slip of the tongue. I have done this because for me relationships come before everything.”

There were many memorable moments but one that is Karan’s favorite, “where the Kapoors – Rishi Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor, Rajiv Kapoor, and Neetuji graced the show”.

Karan Johar mentioned it as an emotional moment both as a show and as a family to Kapoor Khandaan.
