Actress Kashmera Shah recently shared her journey of recovery following a painful accident. Posting on Instagram, she expressed gratitude for the outpouring of support and well-wishes from her friends, family, and social media followers.
In her post, Kashmera revealed she had walked into a glass surface, an incident that could have caused severe facial injuries. Thankfully, the impact was limited to her nose, though it left her emotionally shaken. The accident occurred while she was far from home, which added to the challenge of being away from her loved ones.
Kashmera shared that she is now in Los Angeles and recovering. “The bandage will come off tomorrow,” she mentioned, adding that she views the scar she will bear as a reminder of life’s unpredictability and the importance of gratitude.
Despite the pain and emotional toll, she expressed optimism about returning to India soon and moving past this difficult phase. She apologized for not being able to reply individually to the many messages of concern she received, stating that while she is still in pain, the love and care she has received have been immensely supportive.
The actress gave special thanks to her close-knit group in Los Angeles, who helped her during this challenging time. She named several friends, including Inder Sudan, Radhika Chaudhari, and Mohin, acknowledging their roles in providing emotional and physical support. She also mentioned her husband, Krushna Abhishek, who offered to leave his work commitments to be by her side. Kashmera humorously noted that she asked him not to come, joking about his potential remark, “Finally Naak kaat Li Apni” (Finally, you’ve embarrassed yourself).
Kashmera’s candid post reflects her resilience and ability to find light moments even in difficult situations. Her followers have been quick to praise her openness and strength. As she focuses on her recovery, her experience serves as a reminder of the importance of support systems, both near and far.
