Kiara Advani is one of the most gorgeous and talented actresses that we have in the Hindi entertainment industry. Ever since the time she started her career till now, she has been on top of her game all for the right reasons. For a fairly long time, she has been proving her mettle on the big screen but without any iota of doubt, things changed drastically for her after the success of movies like ‘Kabir Singh’ and Good Newwz.
She continued the good work in 2021 movie ‘Shershaah’ where she received a lot of praises and appreciation from the audience. So, what does Kiara have to say about her approach and what really worked for her?
As per reports in telanganatoday, she was quoted as saying,
“There was a time when people would just write off my performances in my earlier films. But after ‘Kabir Singh’, ‘Good Newzz’ and other hit films, now people have started recognising and appreciating my work.”
She further adds,
“I feel it is important to be thick-skinned to be in a profession that is so pumping and which probably rejects and accepts you Friday-to-Friday. But it takes time to know your worth as an actor and believe in your craftsmanship and also to develop that thick skin. It gets very humid in your head when you have self-doubts if a film doesn’t do well. I learnt to shut the negativity off and just believed in myself.”
