Kim Kardashian, whose full name is Kimberly Noel Kardashian West, was born on October 21, 1980, in Los Angeles, California, the United States. She is a television personality and entrepreneur from the United States who gained fame abroad for her private life, much of which was featured on the hit reality series Keeping Up with the Kardashians (2007–2011).
In 2021, Keeping Up With the Kardashians completed its 20 turbulent seasons. An era in American television will undoubtedly come to an end with the conclusion of the long-running series, which debuted in 2007 and was even, up until last year, one of Almost!’s popular shows. The Kardashian-Jenner family has seen their fame rise and soar as they go from being unremarkable C-listers to some of Hollywood’s richest moguls. And regardless of whether you’re a devoted fan or the show is your guilty pleasure, you can’t renounce the influence it has had on pop culture. It helped to spark major interest in reality T.V. shows that are still present today.
The Kardashian-Jenner family, comprised of Kim, Kris, Kourtney, Khloé, Kendall, and Kylie, has produced a lot of notable events throughout the course of the show’s 14-year run, from comedic highs (Kim taking photos while Khloé is being driven to jail) to unsettling lows (Kim recounting her horrific Paris robbery).
Before the family’s photo shoot for the holiday cards, Kim and Kourtney have a significant argument. She subsequently adds that Kourtney is “the least entertaining to look at” of the family members, and Kim informs her sister that she doesn’t want her to be involved anymore.
As one does, Kris buys Kylie a pig, and when Kylie sees Kris carrying it as she descends the stairs, she exclaims, “Is it a chicken? ”
The group agrees to dress up as each other and switch lives for the evening in preparation for a family dinner. Kourtney dons Kim’s well-known athleisure, while Khloé perfectly captures Kris’ demeanor and Versace-clad style. She says in character, “My shoes and my slacks are Yeezy.” “I have seven stylists who dress me in leggings and sweats.”
Last but not least, is there a more famous scene than when Kim shoots selfies with a camera while her family drives Khloé to jail? “Please refrain from taking self-portraits, Kim. Kris informs me that your sister will be detained.”
