King of Romance: Shahrukh Khan

Shah Rukh Khan is without a doubt one of the most versatile and styled actors, who has stolen millions of hearts with his acting, rugged charms and his pure romantic persona.

King of Romance : Shahrukh Khan 2

In 1989, on an obscure Indian television show “Fauji” which aired on a channel that wasn’t too popular, debuted a young man. Who knew that this very young man in a matter of years will be crowned the king of romance and carry on a legacy to eventually become the king of Bollywood.

Shah Rukh Khan is the ultimate everything of this industry. Right from his versatile acting chops to his macho personality and from being the heart-throb of a million to getting the respect and recognition of the industry for decades together, this actor has been there, done that and conquered it all.

Shah-Rukh Khan made his Bollywood debut with the movie “Deewana” (1992). The audiences and critics were awestruck with the young man’s potential. Khan became a topic of discussion. But it wasn’t until 1995, when he was featured in Aditya Chopra’s film “Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge” that khan was established as a romantic hero. The film broke all charts and become the best Bollywood romantic movie of all time.

Since then, SRK has only gone on to break more stereotypes, crush all records and come out a successful and dashing hero in all his movies over the years. He is the man behind the iconic ‘spread arms to invite love’ pose and we can’t think of a single woman who wouldn’t run in to those arms.

They say that romance must be in the eyes and that is what captivates audiences the most. And we think Shah Rukh Khan’s eyes are too expressive and if one stares for too long one is bound to cry or fall in love. We definitely have been falling in love with this blockbuster of a star for over years on end and will continue to, for an eternity!
