Mahesh Babu was recently seen in a pan masala advertisement along with the Bollywood star Tiger Shroff. However, since then netizens are taking harsh digs at the prince of Tollywood calling him out for promoting tobacco, and also shaming him on his comment, ‘Bollywood can’t afford me’. Netizens are criticising the same and tweeting that while Bollywood can’t afford him, Pan Masala can!

Several users on social media, asked the South superstar, about his decision on promoting Tobacco. One wrote, “Bollywood can’t afford Mahesh Babu but pan masala can,”, another wrote, “I assume only TFI stars like #MaheshBabu are allowed to sell Pan Masala products, while the rest are abused for doing the same. Nice double standards”

Another also stated, sharing the poster ad on Twitter, saying, “It’s funny how #MaheshBabu said that #Bollywood can’t afford him. But a pan masala brand can ( he endorses Pan Bahar and having a Bollywood equivalent in Tiger shroff). Nothing wrong with it. But next time onwards, bring a better arguement to act that Elite.” as stated in News 18.

Earlier, the actor shot to headlines amidst the language debate when he said that he doesn’t want to join Bollywood because the industry can’t afford him. And he also shared that he finds it of no need, for their films are already getting dubbed in Hindi.
